Touchstone Energy Balloon
Touchstone Energy cooperatives have an additional promotional tool in the Touchstone Energy hot air balloon. The balloon has helped to promote the Touchstone Energy brand by traveling across the country and appearing at many statewide and national association meetings, fairs and other ballooning events since its inception in 1999.
The balloon is owned by Cooperative Balloon Associates (CBA), which is comprised of the following Illinois cooperatives: Coles-Moultrie Electric Cooperative, Corn Belt Energy Corporation, Eastern Illini Electric Cooperative, Jo-Carroll Energy, McDonough Power Cooperative, Norris Electric Cooperative, Rural Electric Convenience Cooperative, Shelby Electric Cooperative, Prairie Power, Inc. and Southern Illinois Power Cooperative.
