Menard youth meet with U.S. Rep. Aaron Schock

Grant Leinberger from Petersburg, Brittany Carls and Nathan Ring from Virginia represented Menard Electric Cooperative in Washington, D.C., during the annual "Youth to Washington" Tour, June 11-18. The students met with Rep. Aaron Schock and were among 66 rural Illinois youth leaders to be selected for the trip.
The Illinois students joined 1,496 young leaders from across the country. In addition to visiting their legislators on Capitol Hill, they also visited Arlington National Cemetery, the Washington National Cathedral, several Smithsonian Museums, and many other sites.
