Are you still registering your members on paper? The AIEC Engineering Department continues to offer the Annual Meeting Registration Database FREE to AIEC member cooperatives. The past year the department has sold the registration database to numerous out-of-state cooperatives.
The database is created in Microsoft Access but you do not need Microsoft Access knowledge to operate it. The benefit of Access is its multi-user capability. Several cooperative employees can register members at the same time.
How it works:
* Member information is pulled from your billing software and imported directly into the database. (This is the only part where Access knowledge is needed. However, you can ask the Engineering Department to do this for you at our hourly rate)
* Computers are networked and the database must be shared.
* The registration database has fields for name, address, city, state, zip, phone, additional name on account, board district, account number, member number, membership type, notes and more, depending upon your requirements.
* Register members in two mouse clicks.
* Print registration for drawings.
* You can quickly view how many are registered to see if a quorum has been met.
* Members can register by proxy or in person (Allows you to set the number of proxies allowed.)
* You can view who has registered and how they were registered.
* Print out necessary reports for after the meeting, including any notes that were included during the registration process.
